Im seeking a man who is a nurturer who is ready and willing to take on the most challenging relationship of his life Im single 51 and a survivor I have no children Recently I saw a specialist who spent 90 minutes asking questions and listening She then said I dont think you are typical I think there is a lot more going on with you and would like to run some tests It was like throwing darts and she hit the bulls eye every time Now I have lots of specialists They call me special In two weeks I am having heart surgery waiting for the insurance company to approve Following a six month recovery period I will have a craniotomy essentially brain surgery which has a more complicated recovery period See I said I was special No I dont have cancer been there done that I have debilitating migraine headaches Yep who knew migraines could be associated to a congenital heart defect and in my case a congenital defect of my vestibular system too Currently Im not working who could with all this going on Fortunately my employer has a great disability program So why am I on Craigs List Im looking for a friend and companion who can even be interested in sex with all this going on who wouldnt mind hanging out with me while I recover from the heart surgery I wont be working will just have six months to see movies take walks and hike have to do the cardio necessary for heart surgery recovery and health while preparing for the craniotomy and eat healthy lots of fruits vegies fish and chocolate Then when it comes time for the big surgery hey who says heart surgery is a small thing I do hang out with me hold my hand and be with me as I recover and heal There are no guarantees My ultimate goal when everything is done I can return to american dogger my career and work my ass off But it may not end up that way it could be that the docs say no more and I receive disability a private policy through my employer until my retirement age of 67 and if that happens I will be sitting on a beach drinking virgin Bloody Marys and soaking up the sun In my mind Im 24 look like Christy Brinkley and still SCUBA diving and snow skiing But we both know thats not the case Im not looking for a codependent relationship I cant take care of anyone and really dont want anyone to take care of me But it would be fun to have someone to laugh and joke with see a movie go to a Timbers game head to the beach or Gorge If Im having a bad day be understanding and go do your own thing play golf If I need a hand to hold do so for a few minutes then leave me alone when I ask Im like a cat and will lick my wounds in private Meaning I will meditate take a nap rest etc and dont always need you to hover So you know how they say in sickness and in health well you know what youll be getting up front at the beginning In one months time Ill be ready to play some And hoping for the best in one years time the worst will be over and well be somewhere tropical with my hair growing back yeah it gets shaved some when they open up the skull I get a cool titanium plate too Please be happy and healthy of mind body and soul Please have no addictions my house is full of fun pharmaceuticals Financial stability is a must I cant support two people on my income Sense of humor is required For the next year I need to be selfish and focus on healing so Im unable to offer assistance if you are seeking to make big life changes ie support for weight loss divorce 12 step recovery Thank You for taking the time to read this And please if you are a mean person and think Im horrible and selfish for posting this dont email me Give some consideration as if this were your mother sister daughter seeking a friendcompanion for the biggest single challenge of their life
